The merits of Islam - based on the work of Sheikh Muhammad Abd Al-Wahhab / With comments by Sheikh Salih El Fawzan - فضل الاسلام

In "The Merits of Islam" (Fadl El-Islam), Imam Sheikh Muhammed Ibn 'Abd El Wahhab - may Allah have mercy on him - adopts the method of hadith scholars; for each chapter, he gives a title under which he inserts several verses and hadiths. These titles introduce a certain number of texts. This is exactly the method used by imams like El Bukhari.

He reports no words of his own inspiration; it only repeats the texts of the Koran, the Sunna, and the pious predecessors. Contrary to the claims of his detractors, he is not the founder of a new school (Madhhab Khâmis); detractors who attached to him the name of Wahhabi in order to discredit the message he carried.

This work underlines the merits of Islam more precisely of the benefits which Islam releases.
