This work entitled Sifatu Safwa (the qualities of the elites) is the translation of the summary of a masterpiece by the illustrious scholar Ibn Al Jawzî. It is one of the most famous works written on the theme of the biography of the devotees and ascetics of this community. The author has endeavored to bring to light some of their virtues, words and wisdom as well as the fabulous aspects of their worship. The richness of the book produces an effect on the soul of the reader which stimulates him to want to take them as models in his religious life.

Throughout his reading, by going through the stories of the lives of the predecessors, the reader will realize how much they had said goodbye to earthly life and how much they devoted every moment of their lives to fortifying their homes in afterlife by propagating the religion of the Prophet Mohammad.
