According to 'Abdallah Ibn 'Amr (may Allah be pleased with him and his father): Umayma Bint Ruqaya (may Allah be pleased with him) went to the Prophet (may the prayer of Allah and His salvation be upon him) to swear allegiance to Islam.
He said, "I swear allegiance to you that you do not associate anything with Allah, that you do not steal, that you do not fornicate, that you do not kill your child, that you do not commit obvious slander that you would invent between your arms and your legs (1), that you do not practice lamentation (2) and that you do not practice the tabarouj of the first period of ignorance”.
